Who We Are
Meet the Team
Burkholder Wealth Management has a comprehensive team of financial advisors, estate planners, and a support team. We are here to help you achieve your financial goals.

Our Mission
We serve clients in a deeper way than traditional financial planning
Burkholder Wealth Management (BWM) was founded in 2019 to serve clients in a deeper way than traditional financial planning. We take holistic financial planning approach that allows each advisor to work with 100 client. This ensures our advisors can bring all their expertise and creativity to each client’s case.
The best clients for Burkholder Wealth Management are those that desire a more custom process to wealth management or have complex planning needs. Wealth management applied properly requires a careful analysis of a multitude of specific planning areas and then the coordination of these areas into a complete, comprehensive global plan.
Key areas of planning include portfolio management, tax planning, retirement planning, wealth transfer, business planning, and executive benefits.

Personalized Service
Our team takes the time to get to know each client on a personal level, and we tailor our advice and solutions to their specific needs and goals.

Proactive Communication
We believe that regular communication is key to building strong relationships with our clients. We proactively reach out to our clients with updates and recommendations.

Fiduciary Standard
We believe that the fiduciary standard is the only way to provide truly objective and unbiased advice, and we are proud to uphold this standard in everything we do.
Our Values
Superior Expertise
We strive to provide the highest level of expertise. That is why every Senior Advisor must obtain an advanced degree or an advanced certification and all team members at BWM participate in continuing education for their respective disciplines. Experience alone is not enough to navigate the complexities of wealth planning. We don’t believe we can rely on what was learned in the past in an ever-evolving industry. To provide the best solutions we must be lifelong learners.
Deeper Client Relationships
In order to truly deliver the best possible outcome for every client each advisor and team member must have ample time to dedicate to every plan. To ensure every client gets the highest possible level of attention we have mandated that no Senior Advisor works with more than 100 clients. The average advisor works with nearly 200 clients. At BWM, we believe that each plan must be customized to the client and attempting to standardize plans to scale business is a mistake. We prefer more in-depth plans with fewer clients. We believe this is the best long-term solution for both the client and our firm.
Proactive Guidance
Our mission statement says that we are to be a guide for clients on their successful journey to achieve meaningful wealth. Every word of our mission statement is intentional. When we chose “guide” we thought of the Sherpas in Nepal. Although it is a joint effort between the climber and Sherpa to climb Mount Everest, it is the Sherpa who as the expertise and experience to get everyone to the top. They do not merely give the climber a list of things they need to get there and wait at the base for their return, they walk along side them every step of the way to ensure they reach the top. We take the same approach when guiding our clients on their financial journey. We will always take the lead and proactively approach every task that needs to be accomplished for our clients to achieve their goals. We will never transfer responsibility. We will always own the responsibility of each client achieving meaningful wealth.
Honesty
We strive to be honest with each other and our clients because that is the only way we can improve. Pretending we know everything only undermines our ability to get better and learn more. This starts internally with candid feedback from each other and ultimately extends to how we interact with our clients. We will be honest with our clients on where they stand and what they need to do to improve their plan. We will also be honest when we make mistakes and endeavor to keep improving.
Communication
The number one reason people leave their advisor is because of lack of communication. We will always communicate with our clients exactly where they stand. We will also communicate internally with each other. We will not allow anything to fester or talk behind each other’s back. We always strive to put everything out in the open and work towards creating a healthy team dynamic where each team member trusts and respects each other, as well as values feedback.
Collaboration
We believe that we win and lose as a team. While healthy internal competition is good, we must never lose sight that we are on the same team. We will seek to help each other succeed whenever possible. Advisors and team members should never have a “my client” mentality. We all work to serve all clients and prospects of the firm. Collaborating on client plans, landing new business, and internal projects makes us all better and gives our clients the best outcomes.
